Sheraton Can Tho

first thing to Say Is that we are a couple traveling to experience the places we visit, and we are not seeking for luxury hotels to Just stay all day in, or looking for the hotel fancy lifestyle. therefore we cannot speak for those Who Just want the be treated like vips everywhere they go. (here on booking we read bad reviews of 5 stars hotel Just because the ladies didnt get the best manicure they expected, which Is very misleading when It comes to choose a Place to stay for normal people). for what we could see the place Is highly recommended. we didnt have a chance to have breakfast because we left at 5:30 for the mekong tour, but we had lunch, which was fresh good and had a late check out for free due to the tour timings. we didnt use the spa or pool areas so we cant talk about them. anyways this Place was the cleanest and nicest Place we've been so far on our Vietnam trip. the reception was great and they recommended an honest tour, managed by a local family. the guy and the lady took really great care of us and were absolutely friendly (not fake friendly), we had fun. room service works 24h. hot water all the time. comfy bed. no bad smells, you can use the stairs and ask for a lower floor room if you dont like elevators (like me). when we travel, we always choose the best option concerning price and quality. so we stay in 5stars hotel but also homestays. we found a great offer that justified this stay, we have no idea what are the prices normally. we booked the day before, High season, and spent less than a cheap Place in Italy on a regular day of the year.

As always with a Sheraton you get quality. Big room with a lovely, and large, bathroom with plenty of space. The bed is also spacious with a deep and comfortable mattress. The staff were outstanding; pleasant, charming and efficient - and always so polite and helpful. I cannot praise them highly enough. The pool complete with loungers and towels provided is a nice touch, as is the poolside bar. Again, as always, the breakfast options are too numerous to cope with! If you stayed a week you could not get close to trying everything on the buffet menu. The location is a little bit away from the heart of the action in Can Tho but it is only a few minutes in a taxi or a nice walk along a main street to get thirsty for a beer. There are also restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity.

I booked a room with river view and the helpful front desk receptionist placed me on the 19th floor with an impeccable bird's eye view of the river. From our room, we could see the brilliant lights on the mainstreet at night, which was festive. Additionally, the breakfast spread is THE best I've had for the range of hotels like this: a wide selection with plenty of local flavors; I just wish I could eat more. Will definitely stay with them again next time when I visit Can Tho!

What a great experience. I am backpacking around Vietnam staying in hostels and decided to enjoy a night in luxury at the Sheraton. And what luxury it is! The price is fantastic for what you get. I had a room with a view of the city, a huge bed and extremely nice bathroom. I used the pool and spa facilities, both of which are top notch. The place was really quiet, possibly because I stayed midweek. The staff were so kind and helpful and even gave me a late check out. I will be back!

one of the best hotels I've been in Vietnam thanks to the staff and ... the breakfast. Everything about the hotel was perfect but I expecially appreciated that I could finally find an exquisite breackfast. Plenty of tasty food of anykind but the only hotel where I could find a good continentant breakfast with exquisite pastry too (never found in Vietnam) and exquisite coffee. It really cheered me up. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay really confortable.
